沿著冰川灣內另一水道，長長的蒙，金色公主駛低史凱威，這算是離開安克雷奇南下之後，一座可以叫著城市的地方。史凱威市區面積有九點幾平方英里，人口壹仟壹佰多。
一條主幹道，外加幾條小巷就是它的全部。史凱威市雖然不大，因其地理位置的重要，異常熱鬧，滿街人流。
史凱威街頭
前面提過，加拿大育空省，沒有南下水道，但靠近史凱威市有加拿大育空省的重要鐵道線路，老式火車，將山里的貨物運出，就靠史凱威市入海，再行五大洲四大洋。
入城前經過鐵路調車場，橫七豎八的鋼軌有些像模像樣，各種交通信號燈紅綠藍黃，似乎想讓偏僻的史凱威顯現些繁忙。
既然是城市，除了街道，商舖店面，餐館，娛樂，住宅等等代表煙火與人氣的東西，斷是不能少的。
該城第一景觀，便是城口的老式火車頭，當年它曾擔當城市繁榮的重任，如今成列於此，歷史塵埃，以示後人。
沿主幹道，商店還算林立，逛店之人多為郵輪拉的客。每當有船靠港，他們的生意就頓時興隆。
皮貨、山貨、旅遊紀念品乃各店之主營物品。
運送加國貨物出海的火車
幹道一側，有粉色老屋，樓上窗口衣著清涼的妙齡女子弄出很大響動，專門吸引路人目光。抬頭注目禮般掃了上去，她挑逗地撒下媚眼，秋波頻送，意欲與街客互動。與大城市紅燈區靠在搖下的車窗邊的從業者不同，這種樓上樓下的砍價方式，着實有小鎮的特色。反應城市娛樂業的這種營生，過去在史凱威顯然不少，可以想像那些出遠門，到這裡討生活的猛男們，辛勞工作之餘的生理需要，一定全靠她們了。
也許今天的這位女子，在上邊叫叫嚷嚷，就是在呈現史凱威市當年的真實面貌。
找到一張市區交通圖，我們去了一間郵局，發送一張明信片回家，留下到此一遊的憑證。估計哪怕是猴年亦或是馬月，再來這裡的機率微乎其微，就算名符其實的“打卡”咯。
晌午時刻，街上的人們紛紛在尋美味。我們匆忙擠進已經人滿為患餐館，海味加漢堡，分量十足，走出來的時候，還在抹着嘴角的油膩。
據說史凱威的所有居民冬季到來前，都會乘最後一班船離去，史凱威便是一座鬼城。來年四、五月份開春再回來，除了天冷之外，沒有生意是更重要的原因，人類活動少不了交流互動，如果孤家寡人呆這裡，與坐牢何異。
